In 1990, the Couplings business unit was separated from the Flender parent plant in Bocholt and relocated to a newly established modern couplings factory, approximately 6 km from Bocholt, in the industrial area Bocholt-Mussum.
For more than 80 years, Flender has been making mechanical couplings within torque ranges from 10 to 10,000,000 Nm.
