Two brands, one company

Flender and Winergy – two strong brands under one corporate roof. We set up the Winergy brand in 2001 in order to better meet the special requirements of the windpower industry.

While today we concentrate drive systems for many branches of industry under the Flender brand name, Winergy supplies gear units, generators and services for wind turbine systems. This branding strategy enables us to react even more flexibly to customer wishes. At the same, we are the reliable and innovative partner thanks to a bundled know-how and manufacturing base.

WINERGY: RELIABILITY AS BASIS

As pioneers in the wind turbine sector, absolute reliability has been at the core of our business since year one. In 1981 and under the brandname Winergy, Flender began the industrial production of gear units specifically for wind turbines. Based on over 40 yearsʼ experience and first-class mechanical knowhow, we develop drive components and service offerings for the windpower industry. With delivered gear units generating a total output of over 200 GW and more than 50,000 delivered generators for wind turbines, Flender is one of the world's leading manufacturers in the wind turbine industry.
