BACHELOR OF ARTS BUSINESS INFORMATICS +
IT SPECIALIST APPLICATION DEVELOPMENT (M/F/D)
As a dual track student of business informatics + IT specialist in application development (m/f/d), you will plan, design and implement software applications and adapt them to our business processes. You will learn the project management methods you use for this in theory and in practice. During your studies, you will learn the important methods for understanding and implementing business processes in practice. Your activities in practice include testing applications, fixing errors and developing application-oriented and user-friendly user interfaces. Consulting, support and training during the introduction of new software are also part of your tasks. In doing so, you will use and expand your knowledge of foreign languages. You will help Flender to successfully advance the topic of digitalization.
1st to 3rd Semester
Shortened vocational training at Berufskolleg Ostvest in Datteln plus intensive exam preparation
Professional qualification as an IT specialist in application development (m/w/d)
Academic Lectures (Friday and Saturday at IHK Münster / university locations)
4th to 6th Semester

Practical working groups
Diploma in Computer Science Business Administration (m/w/d) (VWA)
7th Semester
Working on current problems and applications of business informatics as well as projects and case studies (Fridays IHK Münster / university locations)
Academic degree: Bachelor of Arts Business Informatics
During the seven semesters, we give you 60 additional days off to prepare for exams and prepare your Bachelor's thesis!
