A TASTE OF
WORKING LIFE AT A TRADITIONAL COMPANY

During your basic internship you work through a total of seven modules over a period of six weeks, during which you will carry out the most varied work to prepare you optimally for your study course in the technical field. The following is an overview of the modules:

Marking, scribing and centre-punching of metal sheets
Manual material working: filing, sawing
Material machining: drilling, conventional milling and turning
Heat treatment: hardening methods
Bending and forming: manually in the vise with bending block and hammer and folding bench
Joining: TIG-, MAG-, gas- and manual metal arc welding, hard-soldering
Checking: measuring tools
