CUTTING MACHINE
OPERATOR (M/F/D)

Your machining technique is cutting, i.e. the removal of the material from the workpiece, for example by turning, milling or grinding. During your training, you will learn manual and mechanical machining of workpieces, such as turning and milling on conventional or CNC-controlled machines. We ensure the quality of your training by using the latest machines (3D machining), which we use exclusively for Flender trainees. You will manufacture components, analyze the technical feasibility of incoming orders and select the appropriate machining process, which includes turning systems, automatic turning systems, milling systems and grinding systems.

At your future workplace, you will manufacture components, assemblies and prototypes of components using conventional and CNC machine tools. This also includes programming and operating the machine tools and performing service work. As the core of the company, you will create important added value for Flender in manufacturing.

Workplace: Bocholt

Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering
+ Machining Operator (m/f/x)

Do you like to get stuck in and are you interested in design, automation and technology?
This dual study program prepares you for a very innovative task in a production-related environment. You will machine workpieces such as shafts and gears conventionally and with the help of CNC-controlled machines. With a penchant for technology, mathematics, physics and programming, you will master the dual study program. During your apprenticeship, you will learn how to manually and mechanically machine workpieces, such as turning and milling on conventional or CNC-controlled machines. In parts production, you will analyze the technical feasibility of incoming orders and select the appropriate machining process, which includes turning systems, milling systems and grinding systems. After completing your industrial training, you will spend your semesters getting to know technological departments that deal with robotics and process automation, among other things. After completing your studies, you will be ideally equipped to drive innovative topics forward as a production engineer (m/f/x). This dual study program is a good alternative to regular studies. It can serve as a basis for a master's degree. If you perform very well, it is common for you to complete a full-time part-time degree with us following the dual study program.
