On Tuesday German Federal Minister for Economic Affairs and Climate Action Dr. Robert Habeck visited drive specialist Flender at the international industry expo Hannover Messe. Flender was part of the Minister’s official tour of the expo and Habeck took the opportunity to talk with Flender CEO Andreas Evertz about the energy transition goals for Germany and Europe, Flender’s role as one of the core suppliers for the wind energy industry, and also the importance of an energy-efficient industry on the way to reach global climate goals.

FLENDER PRESENTS THE NEW DOUBLE-CARDANIC N-EUPEX DK AND INCREASES THE PERFORMANCE OF THE N-EUPEX SERIES
The N-Eupex DK adds a double-cardanic variant to the already existing short and long construction types. It is universally applicable, but it is particularly suitable for pump applications. At the same time, Flender achieved to increase the performance of the entire N-Eupex series by approximately 30 percent, and the bore capacity by up to 25 percent.

FLENDER INCREASES TORQUE OF N-ARPEX ALL-STEEL DISK COUPLING
Flender is rounding off its range of N-Arpex couplings, first introduced in 2017, with two new designs featuring eight and ten bolting points. N-Arpex now covers a diameter up to 988 mm and a torque up to 2,000,000 Nm. With this new development, Flender has also further optimized the price-performance ratio.
