Dual Studies Business Informatics and IT Specialist System Integration in Bocholt (m/f/d)

As a dual track student for business informatics + IT specialist/system integration (m/f/d), your focus is on networking hardware and software components.
You plan, install and configure complex IT systems and ensure that the projects are implemented correctly. Another of your tasks is to keep the IT infrastructure up to date and to check it with performance tests. When setting up new systems, you keep an eye on the economic costs with the greatest possible benefit for Flender.
You will communicate with our worldwide locations and ensure optimal networking. In doing so, you will use and expand your foreign language skills.
As consultant in IT topics, you will help Flender to realize modernization in the IT area.

Workplace: Bocholt
Program duration: 3.5 years
Entry requirements: General higher education entrance qualification / subject-related General higher education entrance qualification (academic and practical part) 
University: Westfälische Hochschule (WHS), Bocholt, Recklinghausen, Gelsenkirchen

1st to 3rd semester
- shortened vocational training at Berufskolleg Ostvest in Datteln plus intensive exam preparation
- Professional qualification as an IT specialist for system integration (m/f/d)
- Academic lectures (Fridays and Saturdays IHK Münster / WHS locations)

4th to 6th semester
- Academic lectures (Fridays and Saturdays IHK Münster / WHS locations)
- practical working groups
- Diploma in Computer Science Business Administration (m/f/d) (VWA)

7th semester
- working on current problems and applications of business informatics as well as projects and case studies (Fridays IHK Münster / WHS locations)
- Academic degree: Bachelor of Arts Business Informatics

During the seven semesters we give you 60 additional days off for exam preparation and writing your bachelor thesis!
